Keeping Your Employees and Customers Safe
Especially in the wake of the recent spikes in COVID-19 cases, it’s recommended that offices and businesses in New York City have essential disinfection precautions in place to keep employees and customers safe.
In addition to enforcing social distancing practices and the usage of face masks, it’s important to properly sanitize and disinfect your facilities in order to mitigate the risk of infection.
If an employee has tested positive for COVID-19, all workspaces or common areas used by that person should be closed off and professionally disinfected.
Coronavirus Disinfection Services for Offices and Businesses
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), disinfecting hard, non-porous surfaces is one of the most reliable ways to lower the risk of surface or fomite transmission.
Professional commercial disinfection services help keep your facilities safe by actively killing germs and pathogens that may be present on surfaces or in the air, especially for indoor spaces with high levels of foot traffic. Green Orchard Group uses EPA-registered, plant-based disinfectants that have been proven effective at deactivating and eliminating the coronavirus.
Our COVID-19 disinfection protocols are based on the latest scientific and CDC guidelines, using state-of-the-art equipment such as electrostatic disinfectant foggers and HEPA air scrubbers as well as a careful, meticulous wiping of high-touch surfaces to ensure that your workplace is thoroughly sanitized.

What is Electrostatic Fogging Disinfection?
Our commercial coronavirus disinfection process uses advanced electrostatic fogging technology to evenly coat surfaces in your office or business with an EPA-registered disinfectant.
Electrostatic fogging creates a mist of electrostatically-charged disinfectant particles in the form of Ultra Low Volume (ULV) droplets. These charged droplets are attracted to all types of surfaces, allowing the disinfectant to wrap around and form an even layer on each surface for complete, 360-degree coverage.
After the disinfectant is applied, it will deactivate and kill 99.99% of viruses and pathogens after just a few minutes of dwell time. Due to the microscopic size of the disinfectant droplets, electrostatic fogging is safe around electronics, paper, and other sensitive items.
At the same time, we use industrial air scrubbers with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters to remove excess contaminants from the air. This allows for the safe and immediate re-entry of occupants once disinfection is complete.
Together, fogging and air exchanging are commonly used by major airlines like Delta and Singapore Airlines to quickly and effectively disinfect airplane cabins in between flights.
In addition to electrostatic fogging, we carefully wipe down all high-touch surfaces with a residual disinfectant solution to reduce the risk of recontamination and provide lasting protection against certain pathogens for up to 6 months.
